––––– Description
MindCare Spaces is a dual-sided cognitive stimulation platform that pairs an ultra-simplified, errorless-learning dashboard for individuals with dementia with a passive behavioral tracking portal for their caregivers. It keeps users calmly engaged through functional, nostalgic activities while translating their interaction data into actionable, everyday care insights.
––––– Challenge
People with dementia lack accessible, low-stress cognitive stimulation that they can engage with independently. Existing digital solutions are either too complex (causing confusion) or feel like medical tests (causing anxiety and agitation). Meanwhile, caregivers have no objective, non-invasive way to track daily cognitive fluctuations, mood shifts, or behavioral triggers (like sundowning) in real time
––––– Product Audience:
For Patients:
- Primary User (The Player): Individuals experiencing mild-to-moderate dementia, cognitive decline, or age-related memory loss. They require high-contrast layouts, text-free or ultra-simple navigation, and an environment with zero risk of failure.
For Caregiver:
- The Secondary User (The Caregiver): Family members, home health aides, or facility clinicians who need a passive, dignified tool to monitor the primary user’s daily mental well-being and find actionable ways to connect with them.
