––––– Challenge
Challenge: improving conversion of GTTD
After establishing the integration with Google Things To Do we have encountered several problems:
- on the experience editing page, only the address was displayed and there was no information on whether the POI (point of interest -place ID) is selected and saved for the experience.
- it was not possible to select multiple experiences for each POI in order to make them available as options in GTTD
––––– Solution
User Surveys: to get a context-specific understanding of the problem, I interviewed six vendors from various companies. I aimed to learn about the challenges they face when integrating with GTTD.
Workshop: In a workshop ( designer, developers, business representatives ), we established the main criteria for the integration to work based on business and user needs, as well as Google requirements and engineering impediments. Based on the workshop results, I have created user flows ( for persona: vendor) as well as wireframes and eventually Hi-fi designs.
